Great

I can't really say why, but this is easily one of the most fun games newground has ever had. It's not really original or fancy or anything. And the art could be cleaner, but it's just so damn FUN to play.

In a sea of games that are either ugly and boring, or well drawn and boring this stands out easily in the top 5.

It's just a great balance of simplicity, with enough powerups and it ended right about when it needed to as you become over powered instead of dragging on and on for 100's of levels.

Slow front page day

Man the front page is letting me down big time today. This is not a new idea, which is the only reason I can see that it would even be on the front page. The graphics are horrible as any one can see, the controls where poor and buggy. I would constantly get stuck trying to run in a certain direction.

Overall if this was not already done multiple times this would be an ok game. But it has been done, and better. You are lucky whoever is in charge of the front page has a quota to meet.

Ads are not games

Why is this even here? This is a fancy equivelent of the "hit this button to beat up mike tyson and win a ring tone" flash ads. Great you made a very basic golf game and stuck ads in everywhere you could. BLAM !!!

It was clunky and slow, do any of these people even play their games before release? Like did you actually have friends telling you wow this is exactly what it needs to be !!!

I don't think so.

The game is not bad, but its just really slow and not that entertaining as it is now.

Such potential. . .

You have the makings of a really great game here, with some minor tweaks you could increase your score easily. Right off the bat the game looks good, you have a lot of good style to the game. I really can't express how much potential this game has.

The list of crap that is so annoying I stopped playing:
1. blinking lights every second, my head hurts. Make the game dark with a light that blinks once in a while, constant blinking at the interval it's at is ANNOYING. Not scary, and not quite often enough to be a strobe light. Fix it.

2. Too dark to play. I am in an office with a bright LCD, you know whats not scary ? Scenes so dark I can't tell whats in them.

3. Where are the zombies, or whatever ? I as many times as I could stand with that friggen light blinking, and got to kill nothing. This may be a control issue, and may also be made worse by number 2.

Now get to work! fix the above mentioned and resubmit.

A test ?

If this was a test for your 3d code then I would expect you are pretty happy so far, but this is supposed to be a finished game ?

The turning is . . . ODD . . . to say the least, I constantly ran into things whenever I tried to do anything fancy, staying where I was for the most part with minor adjustments seemed the only way to play this game. The laps were also VERY long, which didn't help at all considering how boring this game is.

2 choices for you at this point.

a. Fix turning so it's not so wacky, that will give players the ability to be a bit more all over the place and give it a hectic feel that is playable. Currently you can't move because you can't really tell where you are untill the game turns the camera angle and you get perspective.

b. add better items and bigger gaps, if step a. is too hard then work with what you have. increase the size of gaps to move through, and add some sort of interactivity besides up and down.

Simple, almost fun.

This game is obviously a quickie time waster as others have stated. That is not to say that genere couldn't be a 10 star masterpiece. This is not however, and the biggest downside to this game as with 99% of all high score games is the fact that the high scores are held by cheaters.

The fun of a highscore game is the challenge to beat the top player, the highest possible score on this game would be almost impossible for any one to have more then 60. Yet there are pages of 100+

There is no fun there. Fix the bugs, wipe the highscore database and you have a solid 7-8 star game. As is I played this one time and closed it.

cool then boring

it was a sweet game up untill about the 12th lvl or so when i became an Area effect machine and no beast weather enlarged or strapped with dynomite could touch me.... didn't even need to throw people any longer just pop pop pop....
